Shadow inventory continues to decline in the U.S.
At the end of January, as you can see from the below chart, there were 2.2
million homes that were seriously delinquent, in foreclosure or seized by
lenders, down from 2.6 million in January of 2012. In addition, the 2.2 million
is down from the 3 million peak, recorded in January of 2010.
